Midnight Sun - Partial Draft at StephenieMeyer.com

...I'd rather my fans not read this version of Midnight Sun. It was only an incomplete draft; the writing is messy and flawed and full of mistakes. But how do I comment on this violation without driving more people to look for the illegal posting? It has taken me a while to decide how and if I could...
I'm sure all the other fans of Twilight have already seen (and maybe read) the partial draft of Midnight Sun, assuming you did not heed Meyer's plea to wait for the finished product.

Anyway, the continually changing 'partial draft' of Midnight Sun is available at the author's website, thus saving you from snooping around the darker corners of the Internet. :-p

  1. I would like to know how to contact Stephenie Meyers. As a 54 year old obsessed with the Twilight books, I am embarassed to say that I NEED to read Midnight Sun. As ridiculous as it seems to me, I miss Bella, Jacob, and the Cullens and while knowing that they don't exist, worry about them and thirst (good word) to know what the are doing. I would love to tell Stephenie what her creation has done to me and my absolute lust for more. I just finished the few chapters she has on her site and though totally understanding her anger at what happened, still want to beg her to continue her writing. I am a voracious reader but find that nothing else interests me except to continue with my Forks world and characters that I have come to care about so much. Please, Stephenie, ease our minds and let us know more about Edward's story. Knowing what happens to Jacob and Renesmee also pops into my brain uncontrolled from time to time. Have pity on us.   3. i would also like to say that i am hoping that stephanie will finish midnight sun i know that there are alot of people that are looking forward to readuing the correct finished draft and i am hoping that she will finish it i have not even read the rough drafts online either i want to read the book if it gets published so please finish writing it

  7. I READ THE SERIES 3 TIMES AND WILL READ IT AGAIN. I LOVE THE CHARACTERS. I CANT WAIT TO SEE HOW THE CHARACTERS LIVES TURN OUT. THIS IS LIKE A READABLE SOAP OPERA YOU CANT GET ENOUGH. I STOPPED READING THE HOST ALMOST HALF THROUGH THE BOOK BECAUSE I COULDN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT THE CHARACTERS AND I'M SO NOT A TEEN AGER.   9. i totally understand everyones comments, i love all these books and im so anxious for midnight sun to be released. i would feel better if we had a release date. i have read the books 3x already. my husband says im obsessed. im into the series more than my daughters. i think when we read this story, it takes us to a different place. and we all need to escape sometimes.

  11. Plz.... I'm only 13 and I am suffering with cravings for midnight sun! I started reading the whole series for the seventh time time today thats how obsessed i am wiv it!! it so unfair that the draft was posted online when it was unfinished! it just rips me to peices whenever i reach the end of it and then i have to pick up my copy of twilight to try and quench the thirst for a story that may never be published :( S.O.S!!!

  12. I just turned 12 and I cannot stop reading these Twilight books, 3rd time in 1 week. I have never suffered so much pain before, I guess that is just because I was young when my "Edward" left me. I refuse to read it because I know that I would have to reread the whole book, but it would not be there. I have troubles dealing with the real end of these books, now a fake one. HELP!

I think u should write more about them because if u only new how obsessed and curious we all are about what is going to happen between edward and bella jacob and reneesme alice and jasper emment and rose also carlilse and esme i also would like to hear what bellas mom would have to say about nessie and if bella can balance all of the pressure even though i know she can because bella is strong and i think she is a great mother and aloving person and if i could be turn into a vampire i think i would want to be just like Mz.Edward cullen

    I have to say I was first hooked by the MOVIE. I am a 28 year old retail Mom of two, three if you count my 31 year old husband:) who NEVER has time to read and rarely enjoys it. Once I saw the movie I had to have more! After the ninth time of watching I was on the hunt for the books. I'm so glad I discovered the saga once it was fully relesed. I think I would have gone crazy waitng for them. So I don't realy have to explaine how badly I'm pleading for the release of MIDNIGHT SUN. I have NEVER fully read anything before let alone anything with no pictures and over four hundred pages! Sad but true.... Mrs Meyer, PLEASE PLEASE release MIDNIGHT SUN AND CONTINUE THIS BLOOD LUST FOR YOUR WRITTING OF BELLA EDWARD AND JACOB BUT MOSTLY MY PERSONAL NEW FOUND LOVE FOR READING THIS HAS TRULY CHANGED MY LIFE AND I HAVE JOINED MY MOTHER AND MY SISTERS BAND OF TWLIGHT LOVERS!!!THANK YOU

  23. When I first heard of Twilight I didn't think I would like it because when you think of vampires you think blood and gore. My daughter seen the movie and said I had to get the DVD and watch it. She said it was nothing like I imagine it would be, so I bought the DVD and put it on the shelf. My friend called me up after she had read the first book and seen the DVD and said I had to read the book then watch the DVD that I was going to love it. So I read the book fell in love with it couldn't wait to read New Moon and watched Twilight I have read the whole series and watched Twilight so much I think I may have to buy a new one because I've wore that one out. I didn't know anything about Midnight Sun until my nephew, which is on the computer 24/7 told me about it. Of course I got on Sephenie Meyer's web site and read it, I couldn't help myself because I am like so many others out there that want more of the Cullen Family. I hope Stephenie Meyer's finishes this saga with Edwards version soon. I don't think she would be cruel enough to leave her loyal fans hanging like this. I read the Host, it was alright but it did not keep be wanting more like Twilight series does. I have the whole series and I have read them several times they are great and I would love to be able to read more of this great series, so please Mz Meyer don't punish the loyal fans for something that was done to you by one of your unloyal friends or staff. Can't wait!!!

I was also wondering like many other obssesed readers of the twilight series,if (Stephenie Meyer)you could write another book after Breaking Dawn.I absulutely love the Twilight series,everybook is so different,yet totally special in it´s own way.I imagine every detail in my head as it comes alive in my imagination of the Vampire/Werewolf world.But I want to know what happens to Renesmee and Jacob and how she grows up with him by her side.And what happens with the Vulturi and Charlie and Renee.Cause when i read i feel like im part of it,feeling Bella´s pain,feeling the light in Jacobs eyes when he realises there´s nothing more time stopping then when he sees a little bella come into the world.The rush when Bella jumps off the cliff,Alices joy and exitment organising the wedding.I feel every moment.But when i close the book it all drifts away,i really,really,really,really,really want to be able to do that again,experience the exitment of the new chapters.Be there again in a fresh new twist of the story.thanks 4 readin

  27. Hi, 41 year old mother of one, I too am a fan of Edward, Bella, Jacob and Renesme. I read all four books in 7 days while my son was out of school on Vacation. I hope Stephanie gets over being miffed at that person for putting this partial draft on the internet. This particular saga transcends age, ethnic and religious groups. I would really like to have a bound complete Copy of Midnight Sun. Guess all we can do is hope that "on hold indefinitely" gets changed to will be out in stores in 2011.

  28. I am a 68 year old grandmother. I,too, have read the Twilight books a number of times and also own the Twilight movie, as well as saw the New Moon movie several times. But please Mrs. Meyers finish Midnight Sun. The Host was alright, but didn't leave me wanting more.

  32. Well I am 56 years old and have read the twilight series 4 times and am starting the 5th time now. I can't watch anything else and can't read anything else either. Please write another book about Bella and Edward and Renesseme and Jacob. It has to of been 7 years and she should be grown now. Its time for Bella and Edward be parents to a teenager that wants to marry "her Jacob" I wish it could keep going. Remember Sookie Stackhouse she has about 14 books why not Bella and Edward.

I love the twilight Books, i don't think this two year lapse of people forgetting midnight sun is going to happen, wouldn't it be a fantastic spin off to the twilight books, if Stephenie was to write all 4 books through Edwards eyes.. wow man, you are one fantastic lady, no one can write about how Edward feels like you can. Midnight Sun isn't going to go away, and we are not going to forget about it, so please finish it for all of us!

  35. Like many of you, I am more hooked than my daughter. She loves to read and I rarely sit and relax, or do something for me. So she wanted to sit and read and asked me to come and read with her. Now she had already read the books or what was available and had seen Twilight. She also got the DVD as a gift. And I never thought twice about it. Being the busy working woman, wife, and mom. So I told her okay I'll read with you. So she handed me Twilight. At first I was really, I'm not getting into this. I wasn't even thirty pages into the book. My daughter said just keep reading it gets better. So I did, and OMG I am so absolutely in love with these books..I had so many questions and thoughts going thru my head, and visulizing very thing all at once. My daughter sayes that I am obsessed with the books and in love with Edward. I definately am in love with many of the caracter thoughts trates and ideas. He's an old fashion romantic. What's wrong with that? He treats Bella how I grew up to believe woman should be treated. Sorry I do have that same trate as Stephine does. I tend to go on and on......But really I truely hope she works on Midnight Sun and I can not wait..And that she also writes more books related to Twilight. Now we all want to know about Jacob and Nessie, and what about Bella's father, and he found a new love to his life....Who is the mother of werewolf childred....How is Charlie to handle that? So many unanswered questions....So much more to write. Please Stephanie keep the series going....Our Blood Lust is so Strong and we love the Cullens.....

  36. After reading all comments I see I am not alone. I have a hard time believing Stephanie would just walk away from Midnight Sun. The Cullens have a story too. I can see so many other books waiting to be written ,to answer the questions left with all the fans. We want more and need more. Please don't leave us hanging Stephanie.
